An Irish Dream Hotel

A peek inside one of Ireland's dreamiest hotels On the heels of St. Paddy's Day, and with visions of shamrocks still dancing in your head, I suggest you just sit back, close your eyes, lose yourself in a decadent dreamland and, upon waking, find yourself in one of the poshest hotels in Ireland. The reality is, you could make it happen without breaking the bank. Trivago, is one of the more robust hotel search engine web sites, prides itself on finding the best deal in some of the most elegant hotels around the world. They recently sent me their list of "Top 10 Hotels in Ireland." As a curious traveller, I've visited a few, such as the Hayfield Manor in Cork), and I've eaten lunch in a couple, one of them being the splendid Morrison in Dublin, where Beyonce has booked into, but I've never stayed the night in any of Trivago's Top 10 hotels in Ireland. Nearing the top of my wish-list is the Dylan, a five-star, 44-room hotel in the heart of Dublin. Think red Murano glass chandeliers and that greatest indulgence (and one you'll appreciate in nippy weather) under-floor heating. Upon arrival, guests receive their own iPod loaded customized walking tours. The Dylan is chic, no doubt about it, and offers high-end fine dining options. It's also in a great location. As one travel scribe recently wrote:
"If you need a reference point, imagine a swanky North London district such as St John's Wood, but with better bars and cooler locals, and you've got yourself a flavour of Dylan's setting."
Here's a pictorial walk-through of one of Ireland's top hotels. Welcome to the Dylan,.   [caption id="attachment_15419" align="aligncenter" width="360"] Dylan Read your morning paper in one of the designer-savvy lounges (Courtesy: Dylan Hotel)[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_15420" align="aligncenter" width="250"] Dylan hotel Exterior of the Dylan (Courtesy: Dylan Hotel)[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_15421" align="aligncenter" width="360"] Dylan room Sleek and chic bedroom at the Dylan (Courtesy: Dylan Hotel)[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_15422" align="aligncenter" width="360"] For a change from the traditional Irish pub, how about a cocktail in the bar at the Dylan (Courtesy: Dylan Hotel)[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_15423" align="aligncenter" width="360"] Dylan Lounge And if you tire of one lounge, there's another lounge straight out of Architectural Digest (Courtesy: Dylan Hotel)[/caption]   Have you got a hotel that tops this?
