May 4 to 10 is Be Kind to Animals Week. Look to our five-part daily instalments for helpful ways to join the compassion movement and improve welfare for our furry and feathered friends. Day 4: Pamper your pet Life is busy, which means sometimes we don't give our beloved pets the attention and affection that they need. This Be Kind to Animals Week, show your little fur baby just how much you care. Take your dog for an extra-long walk tonight, play a game of cat-and-mouse with an interactive kitty toy, or simply curl up on the couch together for some R&R. Feeling ambitious? Show your devotion to little Felix or Simba by building a tower made of his beloved boxes, like this loyal pet parent, Billy Browne.
[HTML1]On a more serious note, this week is also a great reminder to take care of your pet's annual needs. Review your cat or dog's health history, making sure he or she has had a medical exam in the past year and that vaccines are up-to-date.
