Hudson's Bay Company Collection and Mattel Canada have teamed up for a very special exclusive Barbie.
Just like you, Barbie picks up a few new threads come September.
The Hudson’s Bay Company Collection has partnered with Mattell to reveal an exclusive Barbie with a bit of Canadian pride. "Our vision was to imbue our doll with an independent, creative sprit," says Hilary Kelley, Vice President, Design, HBC Collections. "This Barbie lives by a code defined by her personal mantra: be an on the go free thinker; be kind, be brave; strive to be better; and always seek adventure."
HBC Collection Barbie is available at Hudson’s Bay stores and online at thebay.com on October 5 and retails for $60.
While we're not sure how prepared Barbie is for Canadian adventure (ankle boots and a pencil skirt, aren't really adventure appropriate) we can definitely tell this Barbie is on the go. With a fashionable carry bag (including the necessary coffee travel mug and smartphone), stylish accessories and a copy of the newspaper, Barbie is definitely ready for a day in the city.
