By: Simone Castello
For years it has been a question that determines compatibility when it comes to friendships and even relationships: Are you team Dog or team Cat? A recent survey commissioned by Kijiji looked into the online habits of canine and feline enthusiasts, and compiled some interesting results. Check out these stats: - 48.6% of respondents said that dogs are preferable pets, compared to cats at 37.8% - The top 10 cat videos of all time on YouTube have 712.8 million views, compared to 586.6 million views for dogs - 50% of respondents are moderately likely to share pictures of a pet on social media Though cats are more popular online and in memes (we're looking at you Lil' Bub and Grumpy Cat), dogs are actually the offline winners, with over 50 percent of pet owners surveyed saying they've got canine companions. So who wins the 2014 Dog versus Cats Internet war? Check out this infographic below for all the details and more interesting/fun results from this survey.
