Fuzzy to Fabulous: Travel Gifts for Dad

For the man traveller in your life (and maybe for you, too!) Okay, anyone who promises to take me from "fuzzy to fabulous in a flash" in just one visit has got my vote. Beam me over there, Scotty.  That's the promise of the staff at Fuzz Wax Bar, which prides itself on being Toronto's original wax bar. Don't expect a manicure and or a pedicure. It's about waxing. Their message to customers:
"You won’t find fancy waterfall backdrops or the soothing sounds of nature beyond our door. We’ve skipped the fuss and frills to focus solely on the fuzz."
And why would you want the man in your life to pay a visit to a wax bar? Well, to be fabulous, of course. And with Father's Day coming, this could just be the gift for the guy on the go who has everything, including lots of fuzz. Fuzz Wax Bar is just one of the options that comes up when you search on SpaFinder, a cool web site that enables you to find a great massage, fitness studio, or other pampering spa treatment, especially helpful when you're travelling to an unfamiliar city. Just type in the kind of indulgent treatment or experience you want along with the city and, voila. The system  searches among 2,000 participating spa retreats, hotels, resorts, yoga studios, fitness studios and the like across Canada, and among a total of 20,000 around the world. Their list is still growing. I'm heading to Saskatoon next week and did a test on spas in that city and only a few came up, only one of which matched the suggestions I had from contacts in that city. But it's definitely a good place to start looking, especially when you're travelling. And the spots they suggest for Toronto, where I live, were bang-on. Some of your cross-Canada options with guy-specific treatments: Bodé Spa in Ottawa (with another location in Toronto) Treatments for the male traveller:  manscaping (waxing), barber services, facials, massage, hand and foot care.
