Here are six fun ways to enjoy the winter in Ontario.
1. Push And Glide

3. Get Cozy In A Yurt
Try winter camping at Ontario Parks – it's now more accessible and comfortable than ever. Cross-country ski or toboggan the dunes at The Pinery on the shores of Lake Huron, then spend the night in one of the park's 12 yurts. It's one of several Ontario provincial parks including Algonquin, Killarney, MacGregor Point, Quetico and Silent Lake with roofed accommodation with bunks, heat and electricity available in the winter.

Celebrate winter at snow festivals throughout the province. Ottawa's iconic Winterlude should be on everyone's list, but there are also a slew of others like Barrie's Winterfest, Waterloo's Winterloo, Sault Ste. Marie's Bon Soo Winter Carnival and the Wiarton Willie Festival.
