Become a Canadian Living We Day Ambassador

Would you like to become a Canadian Living We Day Ambassador?
For more than 10 years, Canadian Living has partnered with We Day, celebrating Canadian youth who are making a difference in their communities. Every year, during We Day events across Canada, those kids get to revel in their achievements and be inspired by celebrity change makers—and a select few are honoured for the difference they've made with the Canadian Living Me to We Awards. But we don't want to keep all the exctitement to ourselves. That's why we're inviting seven lucky readers to join in the celebration.

As a Canadian Living We Day Ambassador, you'll get to attend your local We Day, go behind the scenes to interview speakers and celebrities, and share it all with the world on social media. You will blog, tweet, shoot videos on your phone and share in the joy that is We Day. You'll be given VIP treatment, a special We Day kit and an invitation to any We Day celebrations.

We're looking for representatives at each of the following events:

We Day Vancouver — Oct. 21 at Rogers Arena
We Day Alberta — Oct. 27 at Scotiabank Saddledome
We Day Ottawa — Nov. 10 at Canadian Tire Centre
We Day Manitoba — Nov. 16 at MTS Centre
We Day Atlantic Canada — Nov. 27 at Halifax Metro Centre
We Day Montreal — Feb. 22 at Theatre St-Denis
We Day Saskatchewan — March 2 at SaskTel Centre

What's it like to be a We Day Ambassador for Canadian Living?
We asked one of last year's ambassadors, Rebecca Stanisic of Ottawa, who blogs about parenting at A Litte Bit of Momsense. Here's what she said:

"Being a We Day Ambassador was such an honour and an exhilarating experience. Not only did I listen to many inspiring speeches, but I learned first hand how young people are making a real difference in our country and world. As a parent, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion and proud of the students. As an ambassador, it was fun to live tweet during the day and share mini videos on Instagram for others to get a feel for the event. Thanks Canadian Living for inviting me!"
