IN THE COMMUNITY
This category celebrates people whose actions have united a community in support of a common cause and in the process created bonds that continue to connect the community.

Nominees must meet the criteria outlined below. To nominate someone you know, please answer the specific questions included in the category. Please enter your nomination in one category only. Make sure you include your nominee's name, address, home and business telephone numbers as well as your own name, address and home and business telephone numbers.

And please attach a picture of your nominee to your nominating e-mail; if possible, we would like a picture of your nominee engaged in the activity for which you are nominating them. Your entry must be received by 5 p.m. EST, April 1, 2005.

The five special Canadians chosen will each receive a cash donation made directly to the charity of their choice by Western Union, and a specially commissioned award. They will also be featured in the October 2005 issue of Canadian Living Magazine. The winners and a guest will be honoured at the Me to We Gala in October 2005 in Toronto. Out-of-Toronto winners and guests will be brought to Toronto and registered at a hotel as our guests.
