Canada Day recipes
It's the nation's 145th birthday, grill season is officially underway and the weather is gorgeous, so gather up some friends, fire up your barbecue and celebrate Canada all weekend long.

There certainly is much to celebrate: From the breathtaking Rocky Mountains of the west, to the vast prairies, to the Great Lakes and the scenic seascapes out east, our country is full of natural landmarks and beauty. But the pristine landscape isn't the only thing that makes Canada so great -- our accepting culture, safe streets and wonderful citizens all make Canada one of the best places in the world. Not to mention our dominance in hockey, sweet maple syrup, ooey-gooey poutine and universal healthcare!

No matter how or why you celebrate this year, we hope you have a safe, fun and festive Canada Day.
