What would you say in a letter to your body?

If you could write your body a letter, what kind of letter would it be? Angry? Happy? Sad? Hopeful? Read about a groundbreaking play by Dove and promoted by Canadian Living Magazine, and join our forums in February to ask the cast questions.

What would you say in a letter to your body?

Playwright Judith Thompson

Renowned Canadian playwright Judith Thomson was commissioned by Dove to put on a play: Body & Soul (which was also promoted with Canadian Living in a recent issue of the magazine):

What would you say in a letter to your body?
In order to enter to be cast in the play, women wanting to take part in the play had to write just such a letter. Based on the strength of these letters, auditions were called, and real Canadian women (not actors) of different ages and backgrounds were cast. This groundbreaking play will address the issue of how women feel about their bodies, and what happens to women as they reach and pass menopause. So we ask you: how do you feel about your body? If you had to write a letter, what would it say?
