I saw the cover of the July issue and just knew that was a cake I wanted to make (Angel Food Cake with Strawberries and Lemon Cream, "Cover Recipe"). I think it turned out pretty well, and since there wasn't a slice left, I think my guests would agree. I've made it a tradition that if I am hosting a birthday party, I will make the cake.

Most of my recipes end up coming from previous issues of Canadian Living. Thank you for always coming up with inspiring recipes and ideas every month. This is my sister, Fiona, with my daughter Maggie, celebrating Fiona's birthday.
