This is just to let you know how much I have enjoyed your magazine in the three years I have been in Canada. We arrived in London, Ont., in November 2006 for my husband's fellowship. A few weeks later, on my first trip to the library, I discovered Canadian Living, and have been a devoted reader ever since.

We returned to India in August, so this is my thank-you note. What I appreciate most about Canadian Living is how open and wholesome it is. It caters to every facet of life and to every Canadian, irrespective of any diversity. You don't shy away from issues that need discussion, be it the environment or health care, and I have been better informed and educated at the end of it.

Having a four-year-old daughter has made me an avid reader of the parenting section, and I commend you for its relevance. The food section – well, it was from Canadian Living that I finally learned how to make samosas, a much-loved Indian staple.

Many people and events have crossed and shaped our lives in our three years in Canada, and I am grateful Canadian Living was one of them.
