I am a Grade 3 student in Miss Chan's class at George H. Luck Elementary School in Edmonton. My class had fun making the Hearts-and-Tulips Valentines from your February issue ("Kids' Craft"). For our cards, we made the coloured paper out of paintings we did.

Each of our cards was unique, and we wrote poems inside. We made them for the homeless people who visit the Boyle Street Community Centre. We hope our cards will comfort our homeless friends and let them know we care. Thank you for the great idea.
