I was reading that Editor-In-Chief Susan Antonacci had just adopted a new dog and had heard that she shouldn't feed her dog human food ("Opening Lines," March). This is no longer correct – we do feed human food to our dogs, especially after thousands of family pets died after eating the tainted dog foods sold in stores.
Editor's Note: Liz, thank you for your e-mail. I should have clarified that I meant feeding your dog from the table. I have many friends who make their own food for their animals, and it certainly looks like the way to go for many people.
