Thank you for profiling Dr. Jane Philpott in your December issue ("A Woman to Know"). What a remarkable woman! As I read her story and learned about her Give a Day campaign, I felt compelled to do something to contribute to this wonderful humanitarian effort. Although we had only days until World Aids Day, the students, staff and faculty in my university department rallied to raise close to $3,000 in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation and Dignitas International. When Canadian Living covers these worthy causes and the incredible people behind them, you inspire us all.
