I was so thrilled to read your story on memoir writing, "Writing the story of your life".

My dad tells the best stories, and for years I tried to get him to write them down. You can imagine how pleased I was when he told me he had started. He has a lot of the classic family stories down now, and has begun to record new memories that have surfaced while writing the other pieces. I'll be sure to pass this article on to him. Thank you for encouraging him and others to preserve these important pieces of personal history.
