In the pursuit of easy Christmas shopping, I ordered five subscriptions to Canadian Living for my family, including my daughter, who teaches music at a high school in Surrey, England. I always ask if she still wants it, as it's expensive to send overseas. She told me she had to have it: the head of the food technology division had been reading the magazine, and now depended on it for her students. They use it for projects and love the recipes.
