When my four children were small (they're now in their late teens and early 20s), I made six stockings for our family. Another year I made one each for my parents, who were visiting from England, and last Christmas I made two more for visiting boyfriends.

My ongoing stocking collection is quite a conversation piece when people step into my entrance. Thank you for providing us with a Chrismas tradition.
