2. Sensational snorkelling
Maui is lined with fabulous spots for snorkelling that no visitor should miss. Some of the best locations include Honolua Bay, Kapalua Bay, Olowalu and Black Rock, situated on the northernmost tip of Ka’anapali Beach. This particular spot is ideal for snorkellers of all skill levels. More timid snorkellers can stay relatively close to shore but still be treated to an eyeful of colourful fish and a view of the gorgeous coral reefs. For those more advanced and adventurous, swimming farther out yields other underwater delights like larger fish and eagle rays. Don’t forget to look out for the enormous turtles, lazing on the ocean floor. They’re a sight to behold.
