7. Outrigger canoeing
Outrigger canoeing is perhaps an unlikely activity, but a thrilling one nonetheless! An outrigger canoe is a very narrow vessel, featuring a lateral support beam called an outrigger. The outrigger provides balance and stability and prevents the canoe from tipping. Canoeing offers a great workout but far better than that, it puts you right in middle of ocean action. You may see everything from dolphins and turtles to manta rays. Best done in the early morning when the sun’s rays aren’t yet scorching and the water is calm, this is an ideal way to enjoy the water and get a tour of the island.
