Johnson Geo Centre, St. John's
The Johnson Geo Centre, built in a natural rock basin originally filled with peat, is one of the most distinctive buildings in Newfoundland. The centre's main exhibits start off in a state-of-the-art theatre in which the film Our Amazing Earth takes visitors through the story of our planet and gives viewers a glimpse of the power of volcanoes, earthquakes and torrential rainstorms.
