Don't fret — if the kids are bored they'll be allured by this monster-iffic craft!
Recycled monsters -- a perfect kids' craft
You need:
• Clean cardboard or cereal boxes
• Cardboard tubes
• Paper plates
• Ice-cream containers
• Pipe cleaners
• Pom-poms
• Buttons
• Sparkles
• Scraps of ribbons and trims

To make:
1.
Choose a box or plate for monster and a stiff tube for handle. Centre handle on box or plate bottom and trace around it. Cut along traced line and insert handle into hole. Securely tape handle in place.

2. From bristol board, cut circles to use for eyeballs; tape bent end of pipe cleaner to back of each, then poke other end through box or plate top; bend and tape to inside. Tape box shut.

3. Paint. Let dry. Decorate with glued on pom-poms and other decorations.
