This is a really good dish for a crowd. Serve it with a salad and garlic bread and you have a well balanced meal. Also it is easy to prepare and does not take a long time to make.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped onions 1 1cup cupchopped oniononions
- 1 cup chopped green onions 1 1cup cupchopped green oniongreen onions
- 1 tablespoon butter 1 1tablespoon tablespoonbutter or margarine
- 1 can (28 oz) tomatoes (with juice) , cut up1 1can (28 oz) can (28 oz)tomatoes (with juice), cut up

Preparation
In a large skillet, saute onion and green pepper in butter until tender. Add tomatoes, mushrooms, olives and oregano. Add ground beef if desired. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Place half of the spaghetti in a greased 13-in.x 9-in.x 2-in. baking dish. Top with half of the vegetable mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
