Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lb ground beef 1-1/2 1-1/2lb lbground beef
- 1 medium onion , chopped1 1medium oniononions, chopped
- 1 small green pepper , chopped (optional)1 1small green pepper, chopped (optional)
- 1 tsp garlic powder 1 1tsp tspgarlic powder
- 1/2 cup President's Choice Gourmet barbecue sauce 1/2 1/2cup cupPresident's Choice Gourmet barbecue sauce
- 1 can creamed corn 1 1can creamed corn
- 1 can niblets corn 1 1can niblets corn
- 8 servings whipped mashed potatoes 8 8servings whipped mashed potatopotatoes
- 1/2 tsp paprika 1/2 1/2tsp tsppaprika
Preparation
Fry ground beef with onion and chopped green pepper. You may use 1 clove chopped garlic instead of the garlic powder if you prefer. Fry until well cooked and fairly fine. Add the Presidents Choice Gourmet Barbeque Sauce (the only kind to use) a little at a time to preferred taste. I like some zip so I use the larger amount. Put mixture into 9x11 casserole and spread creamed corn over top then put niblets corn evenly over that. Carefully put the creamy mashed potatoes on top and sprinkle with a touch of paprika. Put in oven at 350 degrees until heated through and barbeque sauce comes up around edges and makes it a beautiful work of art, 20-30 minutes. If you are in a hurry have everything hot before placing in casserole and it will be ready within 10-15 minutes in oven.
