Bunnys Spaghetti Bake

This is a terrific recipe for a crowd, on a cold winter night, or for a potluck. This was passed on to me from my Grade One teacher, forty five years later!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb spaghetti 1/2 lb spaghetti
  • 1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef 1-1/2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion , chopped1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper , chopped1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 14 oz can stewed tomatoes 1 14 oz can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 tsp salt 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can creamed corn 1 can creamed corn
  • 2 cups shredded cheese 2 cups shredded cheese

Preparation

Brown ground beef in dutch oven, adding onion and peppers. While doing that, cook spaghetti. Add all ingredients together in dutch oven, and pour into 9X13 casserole dish. Melt 2 tbsp butter, mix in 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs and add 1/2 cup shredded cheese, and spread over top of casserole. Bake 30 minutes at 375 uncovered. Serve with green salad and crusty bread.
