Wonderful as an appetizer, or when serving soup.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese 1-1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1-1/4 cups all purpose flour 1-1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking powder

Preparation

In food processor, pulse cheese, butter, mustard and thyme until combined. Add flour and baking powder and pulse until dough starts to come together. On lightly floured surface, take about 1" balls of dough and roll out to desired shapes and place on parchment lined baking sheet. Place in refrigerator for at least one hour. Bake in 400 deg. F. oven for about 15 minutes, or until crisp and golden. Makes about 22.
