I love this recipe when I am craving a home cooked comfort food night. It is easy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 4 4chicken breastchicken breasts
  • 6 6slices shaved ham
  • 2 cups 2cupsgrated Gouda cheese
  • 2 tbsp 2tbspolive oil
  • 1 box 1boxStove top stuffing
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupgrated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pinch 1pinchsalt
  • 1 pinch 1pinchpepper

Preparation

- Add 1 cup boiling water over the stuffing and let stand for 10 minutes. - Slice each Breast in half lengthwise and pound until thin. - Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and fry chicken in olive oil until brown on each side. - Lay chicken in a shallow greased baking dish in 1 layer. - Sprinkle the Gouda over the chicken. - Lay the Ham over the cheese. - Spread the stuffing over the ham then sprinkle with the parmesean cheese. - Bake uncovered in 350 oven for 45 minutes (so that the chicken is cooked through and the stuffing is crunchy. Serve with mashed potatoes and your favorite vegetable.
