A delicious and easy to prepare one dish meal. I freeze for later use when I am pressed for time.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups hot mashed potatoes 2 cups hot mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups frozen mixed vegetables , thawed4 cups frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
  • 1 cup beef gravy 1 cup beef gravy
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 packet beef flavouring 1 packet beef flavouring
  • 3/4 tsp salt 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375. Brown meat in large skillet drain. Stir in vegetables, gravy, worchestershire sauce, beef flavouring, salt and pepper. Spoon into 9 inch square baking dish or casserole dish. Mix potatoes and 1/2 cup of cheese. Spoon on top of beef mixture. Decorate the top with a fork,(ie. criss cross lines, swirls, etc.) Sprinkle remaining cheese over top. Bake for 20 min. or until heated through.
