Gluten Free Teryaki sauce

NOTE: This recipe has not been checked or tested by The Canadian Living Test Kitchen.
If you're an occasional Japanese cook you'll have the ingredients in your pantry already. This sauce is much cheaper to make than the grocery store version. I developed it for recipe was developed for a family member's gluten-free diet but it enjoyed by all.

1/2 Cup tamari sauce (It's made from rice not wheat)
1/2 Cup mirin (rice wine for cooking)
2 Tbsp sugar or honey
dash sesame oil (optional)
