Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef , cooked and drained1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
  • 3/4 cup long grain rice 3/4 cup long grain rice
  • 3 carrots , peeled and chopped3 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large onion , sliced1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 can mushrooms , sliced and drained1 can mushrooms, sliced and drained
  • 3 medium potatoes , peeled and sliced lengthways3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced lengthways
  • 1 can tomato soup 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water 1 can water
  • 2 tbsp seasoning salt 2 tbsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp pepper

Preparation

In a deep casserole dish, layer the cooked ground beef, rice and remaining ingredients in order given. Mix tomato soup with water and seasoning salt and pepper. Pour over beef, vegetable layers. Cover and bake at 350 F for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Let sit for 10 minutes or so before serving.
