This recipe is a family favourite. It is very easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef 1 1pound poundground beef
- 1 medium onions , chopped1 1medium mediumoniononions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt 1 1teaspoon teaspoonsalt
- 1 teaspoon beef stock , powder1 1teaspoon teaspoonbeef stock, powder
- 1-1/2 cups macaroni , cooked1-1/2 1-1/2cups cupsmacaroni, cooked
- 1 small can peas 1 1small can small canpeas
- 1/2 cup grated Canadian Cheddar cheese 1/2 1/2cup cupgrated Canadian Cheddar cheese
Preparation
Fry the ground beef until brown. Add the onion. Cook a few minutes longer, 8-10 minutes. Then add the beef stock powder, salt, macaroni,and peas. Finally, add the grated Canadian cheese. Cover and let simmer until the cheese melts. This is great served with toasted garlic bread.
