Hamburg Goulash with Cheese

This recipe is a family favourite. It is very easy to make.

  • 1 pound 1poundground beef
  • 1 medium 1mediumoniononions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon 1teaspoonsalt
  • 1 teaspoon 1teaspoonbeef stock, powder
  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2cupsmacaroni, cooked
  • 1 small can 1small canpeas
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupgrated Canadian Cheddar cheese

Fry the ground beef until brown. Add the onion. Cook a few minutes longer, 8-10 minutes. Then add the beef stock powder, salt, macaroni,and peas. Finally, add the grated Canadian cheese. Cover and let simmer until the cheese melts. This is great served with toasted garlic bread.
