My son is started out in the working world, and we came up with this quickie to get him some protein quickly before he's out the door - or he takes it with him.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread 2 slices bread
  • 1/4 cup havarti and cheddar cheese , sliced1/4 cup havarti and cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 1 slice ham , or other lunch meat1 slice ham, or other lunch meat

Preparation

Cut the cheese as thick as you like, put on bread. Put slice of meat on top, cover with other bread. Put on a microwave safe plate, put in microwave for one minute. Remove, let cool a bit. Enjoy the gooey goodness.
