This is an awesome recipe to have in your freezer, ready to go when you find yourself too busy or with extra company.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs , beaten6 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups evaporated skim milk 2 cups evaporated skim milk
  • 1 tsp sea salt 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp dry mustard 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 3 slices white bread , cubed3 slices white bread or whole wheat bread, cubed
  • 1 lb bulk sausage meat , (choose mild, medium, spicy, depending on your likes)1 lb bulk sausage meat, (choose mild, medium, spicy, depending on your likes)
  • 1 cup grated Canadian sharp Cheddar cheese 1 cup grated Canadian sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 pinch paprika 1 pinch paprika

Preparation

In bowl, mix eggs, milk, salt & mustard. Butter or spray pam 9 x 13 baking dish. Place cubed bread in bottom. Fry sausage until brown, breaking it up into small pieces. Drain well. Spread sausage over bread. Sprinkle grated cheese over sausage/bread. Pour egg mixture over all. Sprinkle a little Paprika on top. Now you have options here! A. Place in frig overnight & bake 350/45 mins. B. Bake immediately 350/30 mins & then reheat for 15 mins when ready to serve. Bake at 350/45 & freeze when cooled.
