Ingredients

  • 2 cups dry macaroni 2 cups dry macaroni
  • 1 can diced tomatoes , (large)1 can diced tomatoes, (large)
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can condensed chedder cheese soup , (optional)1 can condensed chedder cheese soup, (optional)
  • 2 lb lean ground beef 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 can mushroom pieces and stem , drained1 can mushroom pieces and stem, drained
  • 1 large onion , chopped1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper , chopped1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup old Cheddar cheese , shredded1/2 cup old cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese , shredded1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F. Cook macaroni according to package directions and drain. Set aside. Fry ground beef in large skillet until no longer pink. Drain off any fat. To it, add the chopped onions, green pepper and garlic and cook until tender crisp. Remove from heat. Add the beef mixture and the remaining ingredients (except the cheeses), to the macaroni and mix well. Put into a large casserole dish and top with the grated cheeses. Bake with the cover off for approximately 20 - 30 minutes or until the casserole is hot and the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
