Ingredients

  • 4-1/2 lb pork loin roasts 4-1/2 lb pork loin roasts
  • 1 clove of garlic 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 cups orange juice 2 cups orange juice
  • 1/2 cup apricot baby food 1/2 cup apricot baby food
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 tbsp oil 1 tbsp oil

Preparation

Cut eight half inch slits in pork roast and insert garlic in each one.In a large bowl combine orange juice, ginger, cloves and baby food, mix. Place roast in sauce and marinade overnight in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 325. Remove roast from marinade, Place oil in frying pan and lightly brown roast on all sides to hold flavour. Season with salt and pepper, then place in roast pan or crock pot. Pour marinade over meat and cook for 2-3 hours until tender.
