For me Sundays mean spending time with family and friends so I trust my crock pot to help me accomplish this. I originally served this with potatoes but have since discovered that gnocchi taste wonderful with the gravy and it's even faster than peeling potatoes.

Preparation

Add first 10 ingredients and salt and pepper to taste into crock pot and turn on low, allowing to cook for 8 hours. Remove pork and vegetables from pot, place on serving platter and keep warm. Discard bay leave. Turn crock pot to high. Mix the cornstarch and water until well blended and add to broth in crock pot to thicken. Serve with boiled gnocchi.
