Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb 1/2lbthin spaghetti
  • 1 can 1candiced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupsun dried tomatoes, (optional)
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspolive oil
  • 1/2 1/2medium oniononions, diced
  • 1/2 1/2green pepper, chopped
  • 2 2cloves garlic, chopped
  • 30 30kalamata olivekalamata olives, halved
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspcapercapers
  • 1-1/2 inches 1-1/2inchesanchovy paste
  • 1 pinch 1pinchhot pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspdried basil
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspdried parsley

Preparation

Add salt & pepper to taste. Saute onion and green pepper in 1 T olive oil until soft. Add garlic, pepper flakes and anchovy paste and saute 30 seconds. Add olives, capers, tomatoes, basil, and parsley and simmer 6-8 minutes while pasta cooks. When pasta is nearly done, drain and add to sauce ... cook for another minute to finish pasta. Serve topped with grated parmesan.
