Bake and serve hot with nacho chip, veggie sticks or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 small bottle salsa 1 small bottle salsa
  • 4 ounces cream cheese , (light works well)4 ounces cream cheese, (light works well)
  • 1 cup sour cream , (light works well)1 cup sour cream, (light works well)
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium sweet red pepper , diced1 medium sweet red pepper, diced
  • 1 medium sweet green pepper , diced1 medium sweet green pepper, diced
  • 1 medium onion , diced1 medium onion, diced

Preparation

Fry out hamburger. Saute peppers until tender crisp. Drain any fat. Stir in salsa. Spread into a 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Mix cream cheese and sour cream (works better if cream cheese has softened for a while at room temperature. Spread evenly over hamburger mixture. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot.
