5 ways you can tell you're in a relationship
Moving from "we've just been going on a few dates" to "we're now officially in a relationship" can sometimes be a murky, ill-defined transition. How do you know when you've hop scotched from having casual, get-to-know-each-other outings to being exclusive? What are the definite telltale signs that you're officially somebody's boyfriend or girlfriend?

Here are the 10 telltale signs that you're now officially in a relationship.

1. You know you're in a relationship when you answer the phone and talk without using each other's name. "Hi, it's me. What are you up to? You want to go for a bike ride this afternoon?"

Clinical term: Early Stage ESP (or alternately: Call display).

2. You know you're in a relationship when you casually recount your weekend activities to colleagues on Monday morning with, "Oh, we ordered pizza and then we watched the game."

Clinical term: growing prominence of plural possessive – a good thing.

3. You know you're in a relationship when you no longer get sweaty palms in nervous anticipation of seeing that special someone. If your hands do get clammy at this stage, it's not because you've been hugging a double latte waiting for him or her to show up.

Clinical term: sweatus interruptus.

4. You know you're in a relationship when you spend a weekend afternoon watching the game when, truth be told, you don't even like watching the game.

Clinical term: mutually supportive relationship behavior (or, alternately: he grabbed the remote first).

5. You know you're in a relationship when your mate says, "you wore that same outfit yesterday, right?" and you don't even bother to flub for an excuse.

Clinical term:
growing confidence quotient (or, alternately: a growing aversion to doing laundry).
