Awesome March break ideas your whole family will love

It’s not always easy finding ways to keep the kids busy during March break, and boredom can easily set in. But it doesn’t have to come to that. Whether you’re staying in or going out for the break, here are some quick and easy ways to keep the kids entertained.

Get off the couch
Encourage your kids to go out and get some exercise. Now's the perfect time for a family outing to the closest skating rink or toboggan hill. Or, take them to the local recreational centre for a swim.

Turn your vacation into a staycation
On those days when the weather is too frightful to get outside, have an indoor family party. Rent some movies, make popcorn and have a pyjama party with the kids. Host a crafternoon and get the kids to make a puppet theatre, and encourage them to put on a play for the whole family.

Get in the kitchen
Bond with your kids by spending time together in the kitchen and teach them how to bake cookies from scratch. Let them decide what goes in the batter -- chocolate chips, nuts, candies ... anything goes!
