  • Canada's best-known chef, MICHAEL SMITH, is the bestselling author of Chef at Home and The Best of Chef at Home as well as the star of several Food Network TV shows including Chef at Home. A passionate advocate of simple, sustainable flavours, he led the team of chefs that cooked for the world's Olympians at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. In 1999 she got her very first job in editorial -- in the Canadian Living Test Kitchen as a recipe developer and tester, under the direction of long-time Food Editor, Elizabeth Baird. After nearly 6 years of honing her recipe and food writing skills, Annabelle left to pursue a freelance career, working for several different publications as a recipe developer and editor and as an on-set television food consultant. She returned to Canadian Living as Food Director in 2010.
