Anna Lasko is a frustrated high school teacher in Winnipeg who talks to squirrels, well, one anyway. Some would say it's a colourless existence – apart from the fluorescent peach bridesmaid dress she's bullied into wearing at her friend's wedding. Salamon, a first-time author, is married to record producer Rob Krause.
