Fashion news: UNIQLO is coming to Canada

Uniqlo Uniqlo, the popular Japanese clothing retailer (known for its huge amount of inventory, styles, designer collaborations and affordable prices) announced earlier this week that it will open two flagship stores in Toronto in the fall of 2016: Toronto Eaton Centre and Yorkdale Shopping Centre. This global fashion retailer which caters to women, men and children is found internationally, marking Canada as its 18th market. “Entering the Canadian market is a milestone for the company and a significant step in our growth strategy,” said Larry Meyer, CEO of UNIQLO USA and Canada. “Our first two stores in the great city of Toronto will mark the launch of the UNIQLO brand in Canada, which we aim to build upon thereafter with a presence in the lovely city of Vancouver.” This news couldn't have come at a better time—and helps cushion the blow of Target dumping us. Are you as excited as us?
