Each season at New York Fashion Week, Sally Hansen collaborates with a designer or two on the creation of nail polish to pair with the clothing. Prabal Gurung and Tracy Reese are brand favourites, and for Fall 2014 they have some very pretty colours up their sleeves. Prabal Gurung: This season's shades were inspired by Nepal, the country of Gurung's birth. From left, they include Rhododendron (crimson), Rupee Red (burgundy) and Himalaya (nude). Tracy Reese: Tracy Reese's Fall 2014 collection mixes utilitarian style with playful pops of colour and interesting accents such as metallic leather and feather details. The nail look worn on the runway was meant to recreate the look of shattered glass. The new Sally Hansen shades include Chili Flakes (red and gold glitter), Shattered Stars (silver glitter) and Somber Bliss (grey/silver). All of the polishes will be available in September 2014 for $9 each. Get more beauty and fashion news and advice on our Style Desk blog.
