Is your skin feeling tight and parched? An intensive hydration mask will put back the moisture that's missing. Here are some helpful hints on when and why you should opt for a mask.

• Always apply the mask after your skin is cleansed and exfoliated.
• If you have oily skin or acne it doesn't mean you should shy away from a moisturizing mask. Your skin can still be dehydrated, and ingredients that target acne, such as benzoyl peroxide and retinol, can further dry out your skin.
• For major moisture, apply the mask before bedtime and leave it on overnight.
