What procedures are there to remove brown marks from sun damage on my face?

Assuming that the brown marks are harmless, there are a number of different ways to remove them: 1. Avoid further sun 2. Chemicals, such as vitamin A acids (Retisol, RetinA, Renova); or chemical peels such as alpha hydroxy acids 3.
