I have suffered from acne since my teenage years. I am now 23 years old and my acne is increasingly getting worse. My husband and I are trying to start a family and I am unable to take any of the oral medications, and my sensitive skin restricts the topical creams I may use. I have seen many doctors but I have yet to find a face wash that helps to clear my acne as well as stop the overproduction of oil. I know I need to go on oral medications to clear it drastically, but I would like to see a slight improvement. What facial cleansers and moisturizers would you recomend?

My guess is that cleansers and moisturizers will not be adequate for you. I would suggest that you try an over-the-counter water based benzoyl peroxide (eg. Solugel). If this is not effective you should discuss a topical antibiotic with your doctor. You need to avoid the vitamin A topical products if you were to get pregnant(although the risks are very low).
