I have rosacea and wonder what you would recommend to clean and moisturize skin when faced with this condition.

Your rosacea skin is very sensitve so you need to avoid perfume or fragrances in your skin care. Cleansers such as Spectroderm, Spectrogel or Cetaphil are useful. Do you need a moisturizer? If you are using an anti-rosacea cream this may be sufficient as a moisturizer. Moisturizers such as Nutraderm, Cliniderm or Aqueos cream can be used. Sun protection is very important if you have rosacea and this can also act as your moisturizer. There is more information at www.RosaceaGuide.ca that you may find helpful. Richard Thomas, MD
