My two-year-old always has a rash in the nose and mouth area. I have tried medicated cream and regular hand and body cream and nothing seems to work.

There are a few possibilities. There is a condition called perioral dermatitis that can be seen in youngsters. The most common cause is food contacting the skin around the mouth, particularly if there is a history of eczema. Try a thin layer of vaseline on the affected areas before meals. If this does not help after a few weeks, see your doctor.
