How do I get rid of a fungal infection on my skin?
photo of Dr. Richard Thomas, MD, FRCPC
Fungus on the skin can be removed by antifungal creams. These are usually very effective. If the fungus is in the nails you may need to use antifungal pills. There is a new antifungal lacquer that has recently become available for early fungal infections of the nail. You can find more information about treatments at www.FungalGuide.ca See your doctor for to help determine your best option. Best of luck Richard Thomas
